T-Mag
T-Mag™ is a permanent-mould magnesium casting technology that allows mass production of strong, high integrity yet lightweight components. Developed in conjunction with the Australian government's scientific research organisation, CSIRO, T-Mag™ offers manufacturers the technology and equipment to produce a superior alternative to wasteful and costly traditional die-casting or sand-casting of magnesium alloys.
The T-Mag™ process allows for a 95% yield and unused metal can be recycled and produces significantly fewer emissions than other methods, all while producing strong, lightweight components. This technology also allows for the casting of significantly more complex designs, giving it a major competitive advantage.
T-Mag™ is ready for work anywhere in the world thanks to its modular construction and ease of installation. T-Mag™ is involved in a number of collaborative projects in Australia, China and India and has participated in programs in the USA, including USCAR which is ongoing with T-Mag™ input.
